Our Story
Barrio Raised, Hyna Made
Born in the heart of Los Angeles, Hyna Studios is more than a clothing brand — it’s a movement. Inspired by LA, Chicana culture, street style, and generations of mujeres who do it their way, we create pieces that speak with pride, edge, authenticity, and most of all originality.
Every drop is designed with intention — to uplift nuestra comunidad, to reclaim our narratives, and to rep LA with boldness and corazón. Whether you're rocking one of our tees or repping your roots, you wear more than fashion — you wear legacy.
Chicana-Owned. LA-Raised. Hyna-Made.

La Designer
At the age of 5, I could remember going with my grandmother to her workplace and watched as she sewed pieces of colorful fabrics that constructed beautiful bathing suits. I would go home and dream of designing dresses with bright patterned fabrics. At the time I thought she had the best job as she did her work with pride, a sense of laughter from chisme, and hustle. In getting my degree in Fashion Design, I grew to learn that my grandmother worked at a one of many LA's sweat shops, manufacturing bathing suits for various large companies who would hire immigrants and paid them cents/dollars per piece sewed.
At the same time I grew alongside 2 of my 20 something aged Tias in south central LA ,where my dads side resided, and I watched as they put on their makeup, shopped at the local swap meets, and played dress up for those "Y2k" airbrushed backdrop photo shoots. They exposed me to that "hood fashion" and how to style hoops with any and all fits. They were my Latina barbie dolls and I got to play dress up with them. As they were referred to, at times by their boyfriends, Hynas.
Although this was what I know to be my introduction to the fashion industry, I embrace it to be the reason why a person from my background can make a difference. I would not be who I am without my family. To this date I design in my dreams, its not on me its in me. Not only do I aspire to make a difference in the fashion industry I aspire to make a difference in my chicano/a community here in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in Watts, South Central, and West LA and I dedicate every design to my community,
to my grandparents (en paz descansen) y mi
Mama.
